LED plant lights are known as the indoor "sun",which can replace sunlight and ensure healthy plant growth indoors. Plants absorb light mainly through photosynthesis.
ln this process, plants use their "light-trapping antennae",photosynthetic pigments, to absorb sunlight and convert it into chemicalenergy in the form of sugar for storage, which is then used for growth.
At the same time, some of the absorbed light acts as an environmentalsignal to regulate a range of plant growth and developmental behaviors,such as seed germination, morphogenesis, flowering and the synthesis of secondary metabolites.

We call the sum of light spectrum, photoperiod, light intensity, and lightmode requirements of plants a light recipe.

About the spectrum of the seven colors of light, red and blue light are the main ones that regulate photosynthesis in plants and thus affect yield. This is because when plants sense more red light through their "light trapping antennae", they release a hormone that prevents chlorophyllfrom breaking down. This allows the plant to convert light energy intomore chemical energy and the plant grows more robustly. In addition,plants need red light for proper flowering and fruiting.The plant's blue light receptors trigger a hormonal response when they perceive higher levels of blue light, which slows down the growth of the stems and leaves, so blue light helps the plant's stalks grow thicker. Within a certain light intensity range, the photosynthetic rate of plantsaccelerates with increasing light intensity, but not just increasing lightintensity. For each plant or each developmental stage,too high lightintensity leads to photoinhibition phenomenon on the one hand, whichaffects yield and quality,and wastes a lot of electrical energy andincreases investment costs on the other hand.
