On November 30, 2022, DLC released the official standard of Grow Light V3.0 and the spot inspection policy of grow light. Grow Light V3.0 is expected to take effect on March 31, 2023, and the first batch of grow light sampling is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2024.
The latest update mainly involves the following five points:
1, Grow light efficiency (PPE) requirements rise grow light V3.0 requirements PPE needs to be greater than 2.3μmol/J (tolerance -5%)
2. Product Information requirements Plant Lamp V3.0 adds the following product information requirements in the product specification:
3, The requirements of product control ability grow light V3.0 increases the requirements of dimming ability of the product, as well as the description of the control function dimming ability requirements (do not need to test, only in the product specification) : PPF greater than or equal to 350μmol/s AC products and all DC products and light source products must have dimming function. AC products with PPF less than 350μmol/s only need to report dimming capability. In addition, DLC also requires relevant control standards/protocols for product information description such as dimming and control functions, control properties, and acceptance/transmission hardware. (The control standard/protocol corresponding to the product should be selected from the following table) 
4. The test standard requires that the updated plant lamp V3.0 only accepts the 79 test report of LM79-19 test standard (LM79-08 is no longer accepted). 5. Spot Inspection Policy of Plant Lamp in Plant lamp V3.0, the spot inspection policy for plant lamp products is also added. The specific requirements are as follows: Table 1 verifies whether the products meet the standards
